I am so honored to receive the UUSC S'23 Professional Development Award. I chose to recieve my Masters of Public Health shortly after I started my position with the Rural and Underserved Utah Training Experience (RUUTE) Program here at the School of Medicine. Being from rural Utah myself, I have seen firsthand the health disparities rural communities face. This award will allow me to continue my education and grow within my role at RUUTE.
