I am so appreciative to receive the professional development award. This award means so much to me and my academic career; it has alleviated financial stress and allowed me to complete my fall semester of school. I am currently working on completing an undergraduate degree in science before applying to Physician Assistant school in the spring, and this award allowed me to take necessary science courses during my fall semester. I am so thankful to be working for an institution that prioritizes education and works with employees to help them succeed.
