"Thank you Staff Council. I am honored to be a recipient of this scholarship. This scholarship will be used to cover a portion of my tuition as I complete my program. As an accountant, I am very passionate about finance and accounting and how it can be used in restructuring and maintaining the smooth operation of my department. As I work towards completing my Master’s of Accounting Program, I am also taking classes to receive my Graduate Certificate in Korean Studies. It is my goal to further my knowledge and skill set in both accounting and world culture so I can better work with people from a diverse range of backgrounds. Working with faculty, staff, and students at the University of Utah inspired me to continue working on my professional and personal development."
