Eligibility

Not sure if you can donate blood? Call our information line at 801-584-5272 before registering for all health, medication, surgery, antibiotics, dental, tattoo and travel questions.

Donate in February, March or April and be entered to win to Post Malone & Jelly Roll OR Billy Joel & Sting Tickets! Each participant will receive a $10 gift card to Amazon OR Starbucks!

Getting There & Parking

The A. Ray Olpin Union is accessible by car, campus shuttle, bus, and TRAX.

UTA BUS AND TRAX:

Parking

Union Visitor Lot:
  • Located east of the building, click here for map
  • $3.00 per hour; $30.00 daily (as of July 1, 2023)
    • An additional $0.25 will be charged if you utilize the Extend-by-Phone option.
There are two ways to purchase a parking session:
  • Pay at the Kiosk Machine: Visit the kiosk machines located within the pay lot and follow the prompted steps
    • Methods of payment: Credit card and validation coupon code.
  • Pay with MobilePay: Scan the QR code displayed on the kiosk machine to be redirected to the TEXT2PARK website. You can also text the P-Code message (ULOT6, ULOT12, ULOT25, ULOT28, ULOT64) to “25023” to receive a link to the TEXT2PARK website via text message.
    • Methods of payment: Credit card only.

Day Pass (Students, Faculty, and Staff):

Students, faculty, and staff may purchase a Day Pass (ranging from $5-$16 a day) to park in a ‘U’ or ‘A’ stall on campus. Visit the Parking Portal to purchase a Day Pass.

ADA:

Visitors displaying a state-issued ADA license plate or placard may park in visitor kiosk lots or Pay By Phone stalls at no charge for up to 2 hours. Parking for longer than 2 hours in these areas requires payment at the regular posted rate.

All Other Surrounding Lots:
  • Nearest are located behind and North of the building, click here for map
  • No charge after 8 pm on weekdays, free on weekends.
  • Require University parking permits before 8 pm on weekdays, free on weekends.
  • No charge after 6 pm on weekdays for special events in the building. Contact our events & scheduling department for details.
