Thank you to the University of Utah Staff Council (UUSC) and everyone who contributes to the Professional Development Award (PDA). I have worked at the U of U for over 10 years and am amazed at all the opportunities it provides. I am honored to receive the generous PDA support and sincerely grateful for the opportunity it provides. My role with the U of U Surgery Department is constantly evolving to sustain the medical student programs and surgical teams. The PDA funding will support my attendance at the ASE 2026 Surgical Education Week. ASE offers valuable training and resources that strengthen clerkship programs nationwide, and I look forward to applying what I learn, to further our vision and values within the Surgery Department.
