I am grateful to the Staff Council for this award and their generous commitment to the professional development of the University of Utah staff community.
As an Environmental Health & Safety professional, I care deeply about contributing to a campus environment where each of us can study, learn, and work safely. I used this Staff Council award to pay for certification exams and training for the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. Pursuing the ARM designation is important to me because it strengthens my understanding of how to assess and treat risk, and will help me serve the university community more capably in my role in EHS.
I am sincerely thankful for the opportunity this award provides to continue my growth in work that I care deeply about, and to better support the mission and values of the University of Utah. Thank you!
